The HSE Event Safety Guide (HSG195) state that 'if used outside the hours of daylight, or in the absence of natural daylight, all parts of the venue to which audiences have access and all escape routes should be provided with emergency lighting.'
This versatile emergency twin spotlight is the only all black unit on the market. It is supplied with either a single 230v 16A IEC60309 commando plug, separate plug/socket or a combined plug/socket. Fitted with 2x eyelet bolts to allow the unit to be safely hung. The unit operates as a non-maintained fitting; the light only illuminates when power is disconnected.
In the event of a power failure, the light automatically turns on in a fraction of second, using a powerful lithium battery to illuminate twin LED spotlights. These provide an impressive 500 lumens (3x times the light output of a standard emergency bulkhead) of bright white light for 3 hours, or until power is restored.
