Heavy duty adaptors to enable either:
- Appliances with a 230v 16A single phase plug to be connected to generators (or wall sockets) with a 415v 16A three phase socket.
- Appliances with a 230v 32A single phase plug to be connected to generators (or wall sockets) with a 415v 32A three phase socket.
If a plug needs to be connected to a socket which has a higher power rating (e.g. 16A plug to a 32A socket) then an adaptor or splitter protected by a MCB is required.
Typical Application
The picture below illustrates a typical application; an item of machinery with a 230v 16A single phase CEE 60309 plug is connected to a 415v 16A three phase CEE 60309 (commando) socket on a generator.
