This conversion kit is compatible with the Ninja:
- Woodfired Electric Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoker
- Woodfire Pro Connect XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker
Both appliances are supplied with a 13A plug RCD for safety. Unfortunately the size of the RCD means that it won't fit in many UK outside sockets and even when it does, the lid won't close.
Our adaptor provides a cost effective solution. Simply unscrew the wire from the RCD plug and wire it to the RCD on the conversion lead.
Please note that Ninja appliances are designed to be protected by an RCD which trips at 10mA. Whilst they look identical, most in-line RCDs available in the UK have a much higher 30mA trip current. The conversion kit RCD is rated at 10mA to maintain the manufacturer's designed level of protection.
Specification:
- 0.25m 1.5mmsq heavy duty industrial specification H07RN-F rubber cable, which is specifically manufactured for harsh environments. Cable retains its flexibility and performance over a wide temperature range from -25 to 55°C.
- Heavy duty 13A plug (Permaplug).
- Fitted with a 10mA IP66 rated in-line RCD, individually tested in Germany.
- The adaptor should be fitted by someone who is confident and competent to undertake the task. Instructions are provided here.
An RCD is a life-saving device which is designed to reduce the risk of receiving a fatal electric shock. RCDs offer a level of personal protection that ordinary fuses and circuit-breakers do not provide.
