Heavy duty adaptor made in our UK workshop to enable appliances with a 16A 110v European IEC 60309 commando plug to be used with an American NEMA 30TT 30A 120v socket. This provides the ability to connect a 120v to 240v step up transformer fitted with a 110v 16A IEC60309 commando plug to power UK motorhomes at US campsites.
The NEMA 30TT is the most common socket available at US RV sites and provides a 120v 30A supply. A step-up transformer is needed to increase the voltage supply to 230/240v. Further guidance is provided at the bottom of our motorhome page.

- Please note that European appliances run at 50Hz, whereas the power supply across American and some other 110-120v countries is provided at 60Hz. For appliances using a motor, this will result in it running faster - please seek advice to ensure that your appliance is compatible with 60Hz.
