Emergency vehicle shoreline/charging leads use a wide range of different sockets. Use the table below to identify the vehicle inlet that you have, and the corresponding shoreline socket that you require to make the connection.

Please note that we only stock the exact socket make/model recommended by each shoreline connector manufacturer. Whilst cheaper alternatives are available, they are unlikely to be robust enough to withstand repeated auto-ejection (see guide for explanation of the auto-ejection feature).

N.B. When used outside or where they may be exposed to water, the separate rubber boot is required for Kussmaul Super 15 Auto-eject 110v and 230v sockets.

110v Inlets

Rated 115v 15A.

Grey surround with yellow cover. 

U shaped earth (top) and flat L/N pins which are vertical.

Kussmaul Super 16 Auto-eject 110v

Rated 115v 16A.

Domed yellow cover.

3 round pins, one of which (the earth) is larger. 

If unsure measure the diameter of the plug (43mm).


Kussmaul Super 30 Auto-eject 110v

Rated 115v 30A.

Thick surround and cover, both yellow.

3 round pins, one of which (the earth) is larger. 

If unsure measure the diameter of the plug (57mm).

Antares Vehicle Inlet 110v

Rated 110v 20A

Clear cover.

Smaller 23mm diameter connector.

Note that both the 110v and 230v versions accept the same shoreline socket.
