Range of heavy duty weatherproof adaptors to enable appliances with a UK 13A plug to be connected to a variety of generator sockets.
Whilst most generator leads are manufactured from cheap, easy to damage artic blue cable, our leads are in a different league. Carefully constructed in our UK workshop from H07RN-F thick 1.5mmsq rubber cable, which is specifically manufactured for harsh environments; its safety and performance under extreme conditions simply cannot be beaten.
Typical Application
The picture below illustrates a typical application; an electric drill with a UK 13A plug is connected to a 230v 16A CEE 60309 (commando) socket on a generator. 
Adaptor Options
Adaptors are available in a range of options to connect to the majority of sockets fitted to generators across the UK and Europe. It can sometimes be difficult to identify the different types of sockets - a useful tip is to use the colour with the diameter stated under each picture.

Schuko 230v 16A socket The schuko socket is easily confused with the 230v 16A CEE socket. However it is actually easy to tell apart, as it only has 2 receptacles (holes). Commonly found on generators imported from Europe. |
Specification:
- Weatherproof IP66 rated high quality Hamilton branded socket. An IP66 rating means that the socket is protected against powerful water jets.
- To guard against unauthorised access, the socket can be locked shut with a small padlock (max 5.5mm diameter) available here.
- Industrial plug CEE (Menneke, Gewiss or PCE) or Schuko plug.
- 0.7m of industrial specification H07RN-F rubber cable (1.5mmsq for 16A, 4mmsq for 32A), specifically manufactured for harsh environments with high mechanical, chemical, water and UV resistance.
